The hike itself was...a bit overcrowded, if I have to be honest. I would've much preferred one of the trickier routes but the friend I was travelling with wasn't quite up for it. [Curse you for not being partly raised by an ex-Marine, Sam. A bit wryly:] Not that she minded all the Sandhurst type boys we met on the way.

The summit was - absolutely breathtaking, though. I have a decent photo or two but I know it's unforgivable to force your holiday snaps on an innocent bystander.
